Logical Energy is pleased to have supplied solar thermal equipment to the one of the UK’s newest Renewable Technology Hubs – the EaRTH Centre, based at Bicton College in Devon.
EaRTH is a leading centre of excellence for environmental and renewable energy technology education and training for students, businesses and the wider community.
The facility is part of Bicton College, the premier College for the land and environment in the South West. Located on Bicton Home Farm, EaRTH combines innovative demonstration space with practical facilities for technology-specific training.
Through its Interpretation Centre, EaRTH provides a unique venue for Conferences, Seminars, Events and Lectures. At its heart EaRTH is a community space - sensitively blending within the local environment, demonstrating best sustainable practice and being a focal point for bringing together education, employers and local communities.
Logical Energy believe that investing in the local area is important. "The EaRTH Centre is a wonderful showcase of renewable energy technologies. Growing up in the area with a member of staff that trained at Bicton College, it seemed a natural thing to do when we were approached by Graham Waddell - Head of EaRTH Programme.
"Logical Energy are pleased to be supplying pUre solar thermal tubes and ancillary fittings for purposes of training new installers. We wish Graham and the team well in this new and exciting project, and who knows, we may well be taking on a newly trained Biomass boiler installer in the future ".
